Another sunny day at site in Nelson Bay

The team behind Silverpoint are moving at a steady pace with work occurring on all fronts. This month our interior design and build teams have collaborated to finalise all finishes and fixtures selections with our trusted suppliers.

July 2023

July has been one of our biggest months so far. The Structural Engineer signed off on the first floor reo before the slab was poured, commenting on the impressive level of quality of the work - this is a testament to our Site Manager Mason who has done an fantastic job managing the steel fixing team onsite. A big day on site to pour the first floor slab, and to close out the month we prepped the scaffolding and formwork for Level 2.

June 2023

First floor slab formwork complete and barriers installed

This month we saw the install of the first floor slab reo, and pours of the ground floor walls. Now that the ground floor apartment is complete it is nice to see the generous bedroom sizes in real life.

May 2023

The team hard at work completing the dincel formwork for Unit 1.

The site is unrecognisable this month. Detention tank has been poured and site sheds moved, Unit 1 slab completed along with dincel formwork and Level 1 slab formwork. Walls and columns have been incrementally poured this month. Getting ready for a busy winter ahead!

April 2023

After a few months of establishing the site, its time for our first proper construction update at Silverpoint! The ground floor slab has been poured in a big day for everyone involved, and the crane has been set up onsite ready for a big workload ahead. We’re happy to be back working with our trusted local builder partner, Drew Construction Group, who worked with on our Talmora project in Stockton St.
